Returning home from a bike ride on March 20, 2020, Jim was hit from behind by a
17-year-old driving a truck. He was flung many feet into the air and landed on his back, shattering three vertebrae and completely destroying a fourth, and partially severing
his spinal cord.  It has been an extremely challenging journey back for him.  And there are, of course, remaining issues that he will deal with for the rest of his life. Our experience has prompted us to become proactive advocates for Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs), and for all who share the roadways.  Our efforts promote and support enhanced awareness and education about the need for greater safety and justice for all road users. 

We invite you to join us in standing for equality and fair representation for everyone who shares the road, with a particular commitment to defend the rights of those who's mode of transportation puts them at greater risk.
